How to setup Icarus' logging features, to get the know-in what's going on with your server!

When looking through the wiki the following legend will be useful. You'll need the following roles to use the commands marked with these icons

Introduction

Icarus is a very powerful tool for logging what goes on in your server.

It can log pretty much everything - Ranging from message edits/deletion, avatar changes, join/leave, etc.

Create a channel for logging

First thing's first, setup a channel where all log messages will go to!

We recommend making this channel private, for you and your Moderators/Admins eyes only.

We often name this channel action-logs which is generally sufficient.

To set your log channel: !set log channel-name

Enable logging

Icarus is capable of logging literally all actions that happens in your server.

If you want to log everything: !set log all on

Enable join/leave logging

If you want to log who joins and leaves your server, you can set it up easily with this command:

!set joinlog channel-name

This will assign the channel which join/leave logs go to.
